The last couple days have been spent updating the code (and some of the design) of Tag Scores. The homepage now has three main sections; 'popular', 'newest' and 'unchallenged'. The 'popular' section is the same section from the previous homepage, showing scores with the most activity, divided by console. 'Newest' shows the 100 or so newest scores added by users. This section will be a pretty good indicator of games that Tag Scores users are interested in. The 'Unchallenged' section shows all the scores that only have one score submitted. This is similar to the 'Newest' section, but will keep track of all the scores, not just the most recent.

The forum was tweaked to resemble more traditional forums, making it more accessible to users.

Otherwise, the rest of the tweaks were done in the code that powers this site. Users probably won't notice much of a difference in their overall experience.

After logging in, users won't see the 'Controls' section anymore, but instead will see some links at the top right of the page. These links now control the major parts of your account: Profile, Inbox, Friends and Submissions.



The Profile link will take you to your profile where you'll have an option to edit it. The Inbox link leads you to your Tag Scores mail inbox where you can view and send mail. The Friends link will take you to your friends list where you can view and add friends. And lastly, the Submissions link will take you to your submitted items (that haven't been approved yet) and give the option to add new scores, games or consoles to Tag Scores.

As always, there is a Contact link at the bottom of every page that you can use if you have questions or feedback about anything on Tag Scores.

We have added Super Smash Bros. Brawl friend codes to all user profiles. So if you have the game and want to play with people from Tag Scores, add your friend code to your profile.

You can edit your profile by logging in and clicking the Edit button under the Profile heading.

Image uploads are now available when submitting a score. Users now have the option of using a link or uploading a picture directly. This feature should save you time, if you don't already have your score pictures posted somewhere.

Avatars have been added. Right now, there are twelve different images available for users. However, only four are available right away. You can unlock more avatars by submitting scores. As more people add scores, more avatars will be added.
