About Tag Scores

Tag Scores is a system that keeps track of high scores submitted by users. A group of moderators keeps an eye on the scores submitted making sure there aren't any errors or mistakes involved with a submission.

Submitting scores is quick and easy. Users have two options, upload a score picture directly with Tag Scores or upload the picture somewhere else and link the image to their score.

Who created Tag Scores?

Tag Scores is the creation of Ryan Cowan (Tag Scores profile), a web developer based in Chicago, IL. He set out to create a social network based site for sharing video game high scores and interacting with other players.

Disappointed with the lack of quality high scores web sites available and the lack of moderation and proof found on various internet forums, Ryan decided to build his own high scores site from the ground up.

Tag Scores is currently in its second major revision since the original site was built in early 2007. The site was rebuilt (databases and all) in late 2008 to better incorporate new features and improve existing functions. Along with this rebuild, the design and branding of the site was revamped to better reflect the site.
